Independent Rheumatology Assessment
An Independent Rheumatology Assessment is useful in the evaluation of a claimant who presents with a painful disorder that affects the locomotor system. Included in this specialty is the examination of joints, muscles, connective tissue, soft tissue surrounding joint and bones and autoimmune disorders. Examples of some of the disorders particular to Rheumatology are: arthritis, Lupus (or other autoimmune diseases), musculoskeletal pain disorders such as fibromyalgia and osteoporosis.
